Is my life worth Anything? “Is there any place for me?”

The Chronic & Neurodivergent Homeless are being misdirected to shelters or jails that do not provide, nor understand, their needs, nor appropriate development of their potential. When these “Diamonds-on-the-Rough” are released from their environment of great pressure and protected, safe and secure, they are ready to be developed into their hidden potential. When the knowledgeable hand gently fashions their development, their full value is realized, but when forcibly cut inappropriately, all you have left is lost potential and diamond dust.

Very sad, but what has that to do with me ?

As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us really is, that each of us has something that no one else has-or ever will have- something inside that is unique to all time. Its our job to incourage eachother to discover that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing its expression.

HELP ME—HELP YOU—HELP THEM—HELP US

Our future is hanging by a thread

We need you to read and Sign the Petition below:

We the PEOPLE of Redding and Shasta Co. believe that it is the job of our elected officials to provide an appropriate means for all to access their constitutional right to Human Dignity, Safety and the Pursuit of Happiness. The Neurodivergent are a population of the Homeless that do not fit the Cookie Cutter Mold. They have special needs and cannot adapt quickly to change. The Developing Diamonds Community knows their needs and can provide the environment and empowering developmental guidance, starting with a clean, safe and secure camping PARK to launch them on their journey toward transitioning into society, without reverting to old habits.

The current anti-tent and anti-camping ordinances are preventing their path to a better future for ALL.

We ask our Elected Officials to create a new ordinance that allows this new, appropriate form of transitional housing, providing a solution to our mutual Humanitarian Crisis.
