I was raised by a single mother in a small city in Northern California. The struggle was real, and it taught me the value of perseverance. But it was my separation, job loss, and the 2008 market crash that truly set me on a path toward knowledge and empathy.

By choice, I became an advocate for those in need, working to advance the Bill of Rights for all. Along the way, I volunteered at shelters, earned my certification through MHSA Shasta County, and gained a broad base of legal knowledge essential to driving meaningful change.

We the people—especially those in need, and by extension, all of us—have the right to education, particularly around issues like criminalization and systemic injustice that we were never properly taught to understand or navigate.
