Southern California born and raised. I worked in retail sales until I joined the Air Force Reserves at age 30, hoping to do mechanics.

I began hand-sewing doll clothes as a young child. School was a little difficult because of undiagnosed dyslexia, but I graduated high school and have some college background as well. I have long had an interest in animals of all kinds. My favorite activities have been sewing, cooking, traveling, and being around waterways—especially at the beaches.

Presently, I am looking for a small house where my many plants, two small dogs, and I can live happily together.

I have quite a bit of experience successfully surviving from childhood into my mid-70s that could be helpful to others struggling just to find their own place in the world.
